This outstanding super miniature, rare native of Oregon, is tough enough for a select garden spot, (give it some space though), or pot cultivation. A striking spring flowering petite favourite. Some shade but not deep shade, some sun is preferable. I have it in the lightly shaded bit of the rock garden. In a woodland garden be sure to give it its own space. Humus and woodland soils. 15 cm. 30cm spread eventually.
