BRITISH 1796 CAVALRY OFFICERS DISPLAY PIECE A dagger hanger is incorporatedA fabulous example of the 1796 pattern sword. 90% of the blade on both sides is fully blued and gilded. Good bright gilt, some light surface rust in places, but generally very impressive. Officers' shark skin grip, all grip wire intact, some strands slightly loose. Standard D shaped hilt. Complete with its undamaged steel scabbard, with both hanging rings fitted. The blade length is 79. 6cm. A superb example. Please note: this item is not available
