The silk is cut on the bias and set so that the dress drapes over an inner corset that is lightly boned for support

The sleeves are capped and their elastic finish give then a full pouf

The Met has this dated as being from the collection between 1966-1969

You could probably tack them directly to the dress but they present fine as is for now so I have left it and priced accordingly

The pleat work is the star of this piece
