The helmet retains the majority of its early Luftwaffe blue finish with some rust bleed, as can be seen in our web images. The Luftwaffe eagle is the rare short tailed version. Above the Luftwaffe eagle, the round cap for the M. 35 type rivet has detached itself from the helmet; the opposite side is complete. The national tricolour is again complete with minor abrasions.
