collection for Look 54 and the skirt is from Spring 2001 where it was shown in an ivory on the runway

This dress is the same one that I had in the shop before and I was happy to have it back from its owner after she had worn it for an event and decided to edit it to make room for more pieces

It is cut in a classic forties design with a trim and fitted waist and shoulders that are set square

It was made (or completed) under the creative direction of Sarah Burton. The dress certainly would have been released when Sarah had taken over the reins of McQueen. The date of the hang tag does have it falling right in that window where Alexander could have had a hand in its design and then by its release it would have been under Sarah's era.
