The original belt is still present and I love love love the immense amount of fabric that runs through the skirt - it gives it an almost greatcoat/gown feel

Padded shoulders that could be removed if you wish

The tie belt is original and is a long rectangle so it could also be worn around the neck or as a head scarf

1960s Silk, Velvet & Feather Mollie Parnis Dress designer-ruben-panis Unlined and tagged a LAbsolutely stunning silk net full length dress by Mollie Parnis, who one of my favorite American designers! The dress is from her companies high end, demi couture line and it shows. It is a fantastical combination if silk with a velvet pattern fused to the fabric and of course that feather detailing at the cuffs and neck! Each sleeve and the collar is finished with a a beautiful circle of glossy black feathers giving the gown a truly dramatic feel.
