He was a trained tailor who turned down a job at the Dior ateliers and instead launched his own ready to wear label, Tiffeau Busch, in 1958 in partnership with Beverly Pruzan Busch where pieces were also produced, like this one, that only bore his name. Plaid became a bit of a signature for him and Lauren
