Completely destemmed, it has a very pure black cherry and crushed strawberry scented bouquet that blossoms nicely in the glass. The palate is medium bodied with silky smooth tannin, the 30% new oak nicely integrated with veins of blue fruit cassis toward the finish. Very fine.
