The silk is cut on the bias and then covered in pink and iridescent cream sequins so the entire dress shimmers in the lights and seems alive

with hand cut and placed "petals" set in three stacked rows atop of each other to form a tremendous flounced hem

That front has a slight draped at the neckline and the ties nip in the high waist

It is boned through the bodice and has hand finished cups set inside of the bust

It simply slips on with no closures and is a loose and easy sheath once one. The base is a black silk and onto this is a dense coverage of 3D set beads, crystals and pailettes to form that wonderful design you see covering both the jacket and dress. Halston had the fabric for these beaded and sequinned pieces hand made in India by the Naeem Khan family
