After pooling the fractions containing pure 3,4- cis -leucocyanidin ( 6 ), MOPSO was added to a final concentration of 10 mM, the pH was set to 6.2 using 5 N NaOH and the pooled fractions were rotary-evaporated to a concentration of 7 mM of 3,4- cis -leucocyanidin ( 6 ), quantified by HPLC-UV (280 nm) with an external calibration curve with 3,4- trans -leucocyanidin ( 14 )
